Klitekture records was created in 2001 in Gran Canaria, its his first and most loved label that includes the works of artists like sutekh, mikael stavostrand, deadbeat, johan skugge, tomas jirku, tonne, Andreas Tilliander, Pep gaya, Tupperwear and LOD himself dedicated to create clicky music for minimal minds under a conceptual format and sustained with a techno rhythm decorated will gltichness. Most of these artists are now icons of electronic music with a unique and personal approach to music production that is something we look after.Krater is the latest incorporation to the klitekture roster, This band created by Luis Ortiz is an electronic music project based on the construction of sound scapes from the canary islands using traditional instruments and nature elements that are processed digitally. Their first album have received great reviews from respected organizations like vital weekly, cyclefrost, Beat (traxx), Sonar, Qwartz awards. In the future klitekture will keep on releasing more experimental releases on special cd packages combined with the usual vinyl releases

Sinergy-Networks is a netlabel developed and created in Barcelona on 2004 and its based on the synergy theory who affirms that the combined power of a group of things when they are working together which is greater than the total power achieved by each working separately. The releases are interactions between artists through sharing files, structures, ideas using latest technologies like internet, rewire to avoid distances, time or distribution barriers. After 4 years of releasing great material from unknown artists Sinergy-networks have contributed to the discovery of great talents like Franco Cinelli, Barem, Sarah Goldfarb, Bern, Tupperwear, Funzion, etc. On September of 2007 LOD will release his album ¨level of detail¨that will be release number 50, for this special occasion this release will be followed up a series of remixes of artists like Xpansul, Franco Cinelli, Agaric, Jussy Pecka, Pheek, Mikael stavostrand,

His latest project is Calima , a vinyl label with minimal stricktly for the dancefloor with more organic sounds. Calima is an intensely dry, warm and sometimes dust-laden layer of the atmosphere which often overlays the cooler, more-humid surface air of the Atlantic Ocean and represents the upcoming heat to the organization composed by klitekture and sinergy-networks originaries from the canary islands, a zone affected by this climate.
The first release was produced by Luis Ortiz and Gregory shiff to stablish the foundations of this new project that will be followed by releases of well known and upcoming talents.

LOD´productions have been released on labels like like realjoke o minus_n from Japan, Mosferry, Eintakt and Thinnerism from Germany, Antmanuv from Canada, Fragment from Rusia, Modelisme from france. Originary from the Canary islands, Spain he have lived a good portion of his live between London, Dublin, Boston, Los Angeles and Barcelona. Nowadays he lives in Berlin consolidating the projects and ideas that he brought from overseas. LOD was nominated at qwartz awards in Paris under 2 categories in 2005 and it was nominated again in 2006 being one of the few artists to be nominated on several years and got invited to perform with his project Krater in the awards ceremony where relevant electronic artist like Bjork or Mathew Herbert were also invited

His music have been played by numerous well-know artists like Jeff Milligan, Someone Else or Ellen Allien who have charted and play LOD´s remix of Pep´s Gaya dragon soup released on klitekture 007 on several sessions, one of the them was in Fabric radio to present her new Fabric CD mix.

Luis Ortiz have performed at most prestigious festivals for this genre of music like OBSERVATORI 2003, SONAR 2003 , SONAR 2006 (where he did a magnificent closing DJ set on friday night after Tiga) aswell as international festivals like Time Warp being the first Spanish artist to play for this prestigious german festival. While he uses the name of LOD for me minimal and experimental events he keeps his name Luis Ortiz to play more danceable oriented material. His Dj sessions are caracterized by the energy that he transmits to the crowd while his live sessions and more concentrated on more complex material, sharing line up with the most important artist for minimal and techno music he is very confortable playing at different types of events from modern festivals to clubs thank to the wide spectrum of music that he plays going from more sonic minimalism to more obscure and contundent techno.
